Team PA Joins DCED at Global Plastics Summit in Chicago

Team Pennsylvania President & CEO Ryan C. Unger joined DCED senior staff members in Chicago from September 28 – 30, 2016 for the 2016 Global Plastics Summit at the Radisson Blue Aqua Hotel. Unger joined DCED in showcasing the opportunities Pennsylvania can offer companies in the natural gas industry with a particular emphasis on the benefits that will be offered by the Royal Dutch Shell ethane cracker plant that is scheduled to begin construction in May 2017.

On the first day of the conference, DCED and partners from the Governor’s Action Team, OIBD, the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance and Team PA hosted a lunchtime event for site selection consultants. The goal of the luncheon was to develop relationships with site selectors on the East Coast and to highlight the vast amount of business opportunities across the state of Pennsylvania.
