Call for Nominations – 2016 Best Places to Work in PA

Registration for the 2016 Best Places to Work in PA is now open.

Harrisburg, PA – Registration for the 2016 Best Places to Work in PA is now open. Nominations for these valuable awards are now being accepted online at www.bestplacestoworkinpa.com until Thursday, June 30, 2016. Designed to recognize two types of businesses, the program, now in its 17th year, ranks medium-sized (25-249 employees) and large-sized companies (250 employees or more).

To be eligible to participate, companies must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a for-profit or non-profit business
  • Be a publicly or privately held business
  • Have a minimum of 25 employees working in Pennsylvania
  • Be in business for at least one year

While making the list is a prestigious honor, participating companies gain additional benefits from their participation. After the two-part survey process is complete, each participating company receives the results of their Employee Engagement and Satisfaction Survey. Many participants from years past agree that the insights from these reports are equally as valuable as making the list. Additionally, companies that make the list improve their visibility and appeal to jobseekers from around the globe by carrying a trusted stamp of approval of being a “Best Places to Work in PA” company.

“Team Pennsylvania is proud to work with our partners at the Central Penn Business Journal and the Department of Community & Economic Development to recognize employers that create innovative and productive workplaces,” said Ryan C. Unger, President & CEO. “Best Places to Work is an outstanding program because it supplies employers with feedback on their businesses, companies use the survey results to create even greater work environments, and it is an excellent recruitment tool. We strongly encourage every business in the commonwealth to participate.”
