Team Pennsylvania Foundation announces leadership transition

The Team Pennsylvania Foundation (Team PA) Board of Directors recently announced that Laura Williams tendered her resignation as President & CEO, effective July 15, 2015. Ryan C. Unger, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer has assumed the role of the Foundation’s Acting President & CEO.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, we commend Laura Williams for her service to Team PA and wish her all the best in her future endeavors. We welcome Ryan to his new role. I look forward to working with him as we advance the work of Team PA,” said Stephen S. Tang, Ph.D., MBA, Private Sector Co-chair of Team PA’s Board of Directors.

“Team PA is poised to do great work to further economic development in the Commonwealth. It has been my great privilege to serve this organization,” Ms. Williams said. “My personal goals are leading me in a different direction, however, and I want to express how grateful I am for my recent experience with the Team PA leadership.”

Mr. Unger joined Team PA in 2011. Prior to Team PA, he served in leadership roles with both SEDA-Council of Governments and the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce.
